SUBJECT TEACHERS AND CLASS TUTORS:

Lidia Wierzchowska – appointed teacher. Graduate of master’s studies at the University of Warsaw and the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk (major: pedagogy; specialization: integrated early childhood education with elements of pedagogical therapy). She also completed postgraduate studies in: oligophrenopedagogy, art therapy/occupational therapy, therapy and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and Asperger’s syndrome. She completed numerous courses and trainings related to working with children, including those with special educational needs (SPE), such as: school trip leader course; fairy tale therapy; creative workshops; sensory art; hand therapy in working with students with SPE; social skills training for children with ASD/Asperger’s based on behaviour analysis; supporting the development of children with ASD/Asperger’s in everyday life; alternative and augmentative communication (AAC); sensory modulation in working with children with a statement of special educational needs; anger management techniques; simple group games and dances; sensory integration – level I. She is also qualified to teach Polish, civics/education for safety, art, technology, and music in primary school. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a teacher (of all the above-mentioned subjects) and also as a class-tutor in a general-access class for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild intellectual disabilities.

Żaneta Bartczak – appointed teacher. Graduate of master’s studies at the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk (major: special pedagogy; specialization: oligophrenopedagogy). She also completed postgraduate studies in: early childhood education, early support for child development (WWRD), corrective-compensatory pedagogy. She completed numerous courses and trainings related to working with children with special educational needs (SPE), such as: behaviour training; social-skills training; reading at school and kindergarten; the four pillars of neuroeducation; hand therapy program (PTR): functional approach to fine motor development; sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and multiple disabilities: challenging behaviours, strategies, opportunities, and barriers. She gained professional experience working with children with disabilities, among others, at the Special Educational Centre (SOSW) in Ciechanów. She is also qualified to teach geography, natural sciences, physical education, and corrective gymnastics in primary school. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a teacher (of all the above-mentioned subjects) and also as a class-tutor in a therapeutic class for children with ASD and moderate/severe intellectual disabilities.

Kamila Szczyglak-Bobińska – contract teacher. Graduate of master’s studies in oligophrenopedagogy (Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk) and postgraduate studies in early childhood education (WSSP in Lublin). She is a certified diagnostician and therapist in the EEG-Biofeedback method. She is also qualified to teach Polish, mathematics, and physics in primary school. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a teacher (of all the above-mentioned subjects) and also as a class-tutor in a general-access class for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild intellectual disabilities.

Kinga Ziętara – contract teacher. Graduate of master’s studies at the University of Warsaw and the Ignacy Mościcki State Academy of Applied Sciences in Ciechanów (major: teacher pedagogy with pedagogical therapy, early childhood pedagogy, preschool education). She also completed postgraduate studies in special pedagogy (Paweł Włodkowic University) and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities (oligophrenopedagogy). She is a certified hand therapist – level II and therapist in sensory integration – level I. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a class-educator in a therapeutic class for children with ASD and moderate/severe intellectual disabilities.

Agnieszka Chylińska – appointed teacher. Graduate of Master’s studies at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (major: special education; specialization: resocialization pedagogy and care-and-education pedagogy). She completed numerous courses and training programs related to working with children with ASD/AS and special educational needs, including, among others: alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) in working with students holding a statement of special educational needs (SPE); sensory modulation from the perspective of autism spectrum disorders (ASD); working with child with autism at school and kindergarten; documentation of psychological and pedagogical support in working with students with special educational needs. She gained professional experience working with people with disabilities, including at the Day Support Centre in Lublin. She is also qualified to teach mathematics, computer science, biology, chemistry, and family life education/health education in primary school. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a teacher (of all the above-mentioned subjects) and as a special-education teacher for children with a current statement of special educational needs (all grades).

Barbara Derbin – chartered teacher. Graduate in computer science and German philology. She is also a psychologist-teacher specializing in oligophrenopedagogy, clinical psychology, and personality psychology (SWPS University in Warsaw), as well as a specialist in early developmental support (WWRD). She completed postgraduate studies in rehabilitation of children with developmental dysfunctions (University of Warsaw) and numerous specialist courses and training programs related to working with students with special educational needs, including: functional diagnosis/psychoeducational profile PEP-R; video communication training; MAKATON communication development program; basics of Polish Sign Language; social-skills training (TUS). At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a teacher-psychologist and as a foreign-language teacher in general-access classes for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild intellectual disabilities.

Izabela Wróblewska – contract teacher. Graduate of the Museum Studies Program and Master’s studies at the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk (Faculty of History; teaching specialization). At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a history teacher in general-access classes for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild intellectual disabilities.

Dorota Budnicka – appointed teacher. Master of Theology, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. She also completed postgraduate studies in: early childhood education, elementary education, and education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities (Paweł Włodkowic University; Wincenty Pol Academy). She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in sociotherapy. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a religion-teacher for children with a current statement of special educational needs (all grades).

Agnieszka Łukasiak – contract teacher. Master of Pedagogy (Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk). She also completed postgraduate studies in: special education, inclusive and integrative education, and education of students with disabilities, including revalidation of children and adolescents with special educational needs (Paweł Włodkowic University; Wincenty Pol Academy). She completed numerous courses and training-programs related to working with children with ASD/Asperger’s, such as: autism – working with behaviours; selected therapeutic and support methods in special education; methods of working with students with disabilities; pedagogical therapy and development of Individual Educational and Therapeutic Programs (IPET); art therapy in a teacher’s work; use of sensory integration elements in educational practice. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a support-teacher in general-access classes for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild intellectual disabilities.

Ewelina Kowalska – beginning teacher. Graduate of Paweł Włodkowic University (major: special education; specialization: resocialization pedagogy). She also completed postgraduate studies in education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities (oligophrenopedagogy). Anna Jackowska – beginning teacher. Master of Pedagogy specializing in early childhood education (Academy of Applied Sciences in Warsaw). She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in special education (specialization: education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities / oligophrenopedagogy). She is also a certified social-skills training (TUS) Therapist – Level II. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a support-teacher for children with ASD/Asperger’s and mild, moderate, or severe intellectual disabilities (all grades).

Magdalena Pytel – beginning teacher. Master of Social Clinical Psychology (SWPS University in Warsaw). She also completed postgraduate studies in educational management, pedagogy (oligophrenopedagogy), and education and rehabilitation of people with autism and Asperger’s syndrome. She completed numerous courses and training programs confirming her knowledge and competencies in working with students with special educational needs, including: Applied Behaviour Analysis – Level III course; functional diagnosis using the PEP-R test and IPET; Good Start Method by Prof. M. Bogdanowicz; TEACCH Model; SCERTS Model; Early Start Denver Model – introductory workshop; Floortime Method; Sensory art; Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is also qualified to conduct autism diagnosis using the ADOS-2 tool in clinical practice. Krzysztof Sujka – beginning teacher. Master of Pedagogy (Maria Grzegorzewska University of Special Education in Warsaw; Paweł Włodkowic University; Academy of Humanities and Economics) specializing in early childhood education, oligophrenopedagogy, and pedagogical therapy. He is a certified Sensory Integration Therapist – Level II; certified therapist of the Sherborne Developmental Movement Method – Level II; certified music therapist according to the B. Romanowska method – Level II and certified Sensoplasty Trainer – Level I. He also completed specialist training in Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) and the International Mental Health Promotion Program “Friends of Zippy.” At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, he works as a special-education teacher and pedagogical-therapist for children with a current statement of special educational needs (all grades).

Julita Siemiątkowska-Sujka – appointed teacher, Ph. D. Doctor of Medical and Health Sciences in the discipline of health sciences (Medical University of Warsaw); Master’s degree in social policy (University of Warsaw); Master’s degree in social clinical psychology (SWPS University); specialist in educational management and NGO management. She also completed postgraduate studies in pedagogy, oligophrenopedagogy, and management (SGH Warsaw School of Economics). She is a certified physical recreation therapist specializing in alpaca-therapy. She is a psychologist-lecturer in postgraduate programs: Education and Rehabilitation of People with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome; Education and Rehabilitation of People with Intellectual Disabilities (oligophrenopedagogy). She completed numerous Polish and international training programs related to ASD/AS/SPE, including: Son-Rise Program; AAC two-stage training; PECS; Social Skills Training (TUS); drama training for trainers; Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA); Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPD); Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); TEACCH Model; SCERTS Model; Early Start Denver Model; Floortime Method; Good Start Method; Sensory art; Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Weronika Bogdańska – beginning teacher. Graduate of Bachelor’s studies at the University of Łódź (major: pedagogy; specialization: care and pedagogical therapy) and Master’s studies at the Maria Grzegorzewska University of Special Education in Warsaw (major: special education; specialization: pedagogical therapy). She holds full qualifications to diagnose and conduct therapy using the Sensory Integration method (Polish Association of Sensory Integration Therapists – PSTIS) and to plan and model SI therapy using Polish Standardized Sensory Integration Tests (by PSTIS). She gained professional experience working in a public psychological-pedagogical counselling centre in Ciechanów. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a pedagogical-therapist for children with a statement of special educational needs and conducts individual revalidation-support classes using the sensory integration method (all grades).

Justyna Koszela – appointed teacher. Graduate of Master’s studies at the Maria Grzegorzewska University of Special Education in Warsaw (specialization: social work and pedagogy). She also completed postgraduate studies in preschool education, early childhood education, speech therapy, neuro-speech therapy, and oligophrenopedagogy. She participated in specialist training programs on preventing domestic violence and numerous speech therapy courses, including: early reading using the syllabic method; speech rhythmics; speech sensory therapy; active music listening using the B. Strauss method; colour sound method; speech & gesture method (Werbogesty); alternative and augmentative communication (AAC); speech assessment of a child (KOLD); therapeutic taping in speech therapy and neuro-speech therapy; myofunctional therapy; working with children with aphasia; speech therapy massage; CAPD; manual therapy for speech therapists: articulation disorders; larynx in speech therapy. She is a certified hand therapist – level II. She is also fully qualified to conduct diagnosis and audio-psycho-phonological therapy using the Prof. Alfred Tomatis Method – Level II. At the Non-Public Primary School Structured TEACCHing in Ciechanów, she works as a speech-therapist for children with a current statement of special educational needs (SPE) and conducts individual and group audio-psycho-phonological training using the Prof. Tomatis Method (all grades).
